The melting point of peek is @ 343C but you will get better throughput and adhesion at a higher temperature.
A 16 hour print at 400C is possible but idling at that temperature causes some degradation of the material.
It is recommended to print PEEK @ 370 to 380C.
See here that idling for 20-30 minutes at 400C does not produce a jam (caused by heat creep up the filament).
But it will produce char which will clog a nozzle and require nozzle removal and cleaning (by fire!)
0.35mm nozzle, 400C, idle for 30 minutes:
these were used in an attempt to manually force the clog through- didn't work.
The GARCAD hotend is not warranteed to exceed 400C. There is no thermoplastic that requires it.
